The International Society for Digital Earth was co-founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. As the Society's national member in China, the Chinese National Committee is deeply integrated into the global governance framework of digital earth science. The Committee oversees 21 technical committees, each led by industry experts, dedicated to advancing fundamental theories, technologies, and applications in the digital earth field, driving the full-chain development of marine informatization—from data standards to practical implementation.
